New Orleans Saints’ versatile player Taysom Hill left the field during the second half of the Saints’ Week 2 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday due to a chest injury and is listed as doubtful to return. This injury is one of the few setbacks for the Saints on a day where they have otherwise excelled, holding a commanding 41-19 lead over the Cowboys in the fourth quarter.
After the game, Saints coach Dennis Allen mentioned that Hill was taken to the hospital for further evaluation, though he believes the hospital visit was a precautionary measure. Before the injury, Hill had accumulated 18 rushing yards on three carries and made one reception for one yard.
