BREAKING NEWS: Player Is Finally Back In practice with The Chiefs.

Wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster rejoined practice with the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday following the finalization of his contract agreement.

Smith-Schuster’s time with the New England Patriots was brief, lasting only a year, and now he’s joining a packed wide receiver group with the Chiefs. Linebacker Drue Tranquill shared a lighthearted anecdote from Monday morning:

“Nick [Bolton] was getting treatment and heard a familiar voice. When he looked up, it was JuJu saying, ‘What’s up, brother?’” Tranquill chuckled. “I’m excited to meet JuJu and see what he brings. He’s known as a great player with strong chemistry with [Patrick Mahomes]. Even missing a few games, he nearly hit 1,000 yards a couple of seasons ago. He’ll be a valuable addition for us.”

In the 2022 season, Smith-Schuster played 16 games, missing just one due to a concussion, and accumulated 933 receiving yards, trailing only tight end Travis Kelce. Smith-Schuster is scheduled to address the media on Tuesday.
