BREAKING NEWS: Five-star Justus Terry shares Final intimate details about his recruitment with Georgia

Georgia football is once again in the mix for having the top recruiting class in the country again this cycle. The Bulldogs currently have the No. 3 class behind Ohio State and Alabama, but with some big fish still out on the table for Georgia anything is still possible.

One of those big fish is five-star defensive lineman Justus Terry, who is one of the top recruits in the country. According to the 247Sports composite rankings, he is the No. 7 overall player in the country as well as the No. 2 defensive lineman and No. 2 player from Georgia. These rankings alone show why it isn’t surprising to see Kirby Smart and his staff heaviliy pursuing Terry.

Terry originally committed to Georgia back in early 2023, but did decommit from the program this past March. But that hasn’t stopped Georgia from being one of the top candidates to win this recruitment.

Justus Terry updates his recruitment

“I think it is going to come down to where I am most comfortable at and you know I feel comfortable at a lot of places,” Terry said via dawgnation.com. “Not just Georgia. Georgia. Texas. Alabama. Florida State. I feel at home at a lot of places. It will really come down to where I am comfortable at, who I want to grind with and who I want to play with.”

Thinkng about Terry’s potential comfortability at Georgia, one thing on the Bulldogs side is Terry’s relationship with another recruit already committed to Georgia.

After fellow five-star defensive lineman Elijah Griffin committed to Georgia last week, he joked that Terry knows where home his. Terry’s response to that was rather interesting.

“You know me and E (Elijah Griffin) it is all jokes,” Terry shared. “We are just going to keep poking at each other for sure. Hopefully, we end up on the same field playing together. But hey it is whatever God takes me. I’m just walking the walk.”

Gerogia currently holds all five crystal ball predictions in their favor to land Terry, but it doesn’t sound like Terry has quite made up his mind yet.

“I’m open. I look at them all equal. I’m just exploring my options. I’ve seen the thing where they said that Georgia is 100 percent with the predictions, but I was like you know it looks like that. But I look at it like it is all equal. I can land anywhere.”

This is not what any Georgia fan wants to hear. But at the end of the day, all UGA fans can do is wait and hope that these expert predictions are in fact correct.

Terry has confirmed that his final five schools are Georgia, Texas, Alabama, Auburn and Florida State. As it stands today it seems like Georgia and Alabama get talked about the most in this recruitment, but it appears anything can still happen in this recruitment.

Terry has set a commitment date of Dec. 6, which is the final day of the Early Signing Period. So in the grand scheme of things, Georgia won’t have to wait too long to find out his final decision.

Here’s to hoping that he picks Georgia, which would give the Bulldogs the top two defensive lineman in this recruiting class.
