Alabama suffered a significant setback on Saturday at Tiger Stadium, as starting linebacker Que Robinson was injured in the second half and is now expected to miss the remainder of the season, according to a report from 247Sports.
Robinson sustained an upper body injury during the Crimson Tide’s 42-13 win over LSU, finishing the game with two tackles.
In his final season at Alabama, Robinson had emerged as one of the team’s most disruptive pass rushers. As of Week 11, he is tied with linebacker Jihaad Campbell for the team lead in sacks with four.
Head coach Kalen DeBoer is expected to address the media on Monday, providing an update on Robinson as Alabama begins preparations for its upcoming game against Mercer next weekend.
Robinson left Saturday’s win against LSU in the third quarter after a two-yard rush by running back Josh Williams. Robinson was escorted to the medical tent.
Robinson left the medical tent with a sling on his left arm and walked with a trainer to the locker room. He was later ruled out for the rest of the Crimson Tide’s 42-13 win against LSU by an Alabama football spokesperson.
In nine games, Robinson has 23 tackles, seven tackles for loss and four sacks. He also has a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.
Robinson played in 14 games for the Crimson Tide in 2023 and had 24 tackles, three tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks.
