BREAKING NEWS: Alabama Expecting Reinforcements in Wide Receiver Room for Tennessee Matchup

Alabama may be gaining some much-needed health at a crucial position ahead of their important matchup against Tennessee this week. In the first SEC availability report, wide receivers Kendrick Law and Kobe Prentice were listed as probable.

Law hasn’t played since the game against Georgia, and he has just two catches for 41 yards and a touchdown in two appearances this year. He’s a dynamic playmaker in the receiving and return games, and his presence as a blocker could be pivotal against a stout Tennessee defensive front. Prentice, meanwhile, was expected to be a consistent contributor to the passing game this fall. He has eight catches for 107 yards through four games this year, but he missed last week’s game against South Carolina. Defensive back Domani Jackson, a former USC transfer, was carted to the locker room against South Carolina. However, he returned to the game and made the game-sealing interception of Gamecocks quarterback LaNorris Sellers.

For Tennessee, star linebacker Keenan Pili suffered a season-ending torn ACL, while starting left tackle Lance Heard is listed as probable after missing games against Kent State and Oklahoma earlier this season.
