The All-MLB Team honors the standout performances of the 2024 regular season. Freddie Freeman aims for his sixth consecutive selection, while Yordan Alvarez and Mookie Betts seek their fifth. Aaron Judge and Shohei Ohtani are both in contention for their fourth straight selections.
Voting is open at MLB.com/AllMLB until October 11th at 12:00 p.m. (ET).
Major League Baseball has opened voting for the official All-MLB Team, recognizing exceptional player performances throughout the 2024 season. The selections will be announced on November 14th during the “All-MLB Team Show” at The Chelsea in The Cosmopolitan as part of the All-MLB Weekend in Las Vegas. Other MLB awards, such as the Hank Aaron Award and Comeback Players of the Year, will also be presented.
Former stars attending include four-time All-Star Dellin Betances, 2015 World Series champ Jeremy Guthrie, and many others.
Fans can vote daily for their All-MLB picks until October 11th at mlb.com/allmlb, with a Spanish ballot available at lasmayores.com/todomlb. Voting is a collaborative effort between fans and a panel of media and former players. All voters will have a chance to win a trip to the All-MLB Weekend.
Voting categories include catcher, first base, second base, third base, shortstop, three outfielders, designated hitter, five starting pitchers, and two relief pitchers, based solely on the 2024 season.
Tomorrow night at 8:00 p.m. (ET), MLB Network will preview the nominees with Adnan Virk, Steve Phillips, and Dan Plesac.
Among the nominees are 80 All-Stars, including 60 players from the 2024 All-Star rosters, six rookies, and a diverse group of internationally-born players. Notable candidates include previous award winners and several players seeking repeat honors.
Freddie Freeman is the only player to have been selected every year since the All-MLB Team’s inception. Alvarez and Betts are aiming for their fifth selections, while Judge and Ohtani pursue their fourth consecutive spots. The 2024 ballot features several All-MLB honorees from 2023, including Betts, Freeman, and Ohtani, among others.
