According to Aric DiLalla of the Broncos’ official website, Skinner (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Buccaneers.
Skinner suffered an ankle injury in the Broncos’ Week 2 loss to the Steelers. The injury was bad enough to prevent him from exercising all week, and his next opportunity to play will be in Week 4 against the Jets on September 29. Devon Key will be the top rotational safety on Sunday, trailing only starters P.J. Locke and Brandon Jones.
