BREAKING: The Bears Stars battle for ball after first touchdown connection

When rookie quarterback Caleb Williams of the Chicago Bears finally tossed his first touchdown of the season, it went to Rome Odunze, another rookie, after three weeks. Williams closed the score on the Indianapolis Colts with a one-yard touchdown pass to Odunze.

At the end of the play, the two joked with each other about who should have the ball as Williams chased Odunze.

Williams’ rookie campaign hasn’t gotten off to the best start as he’s now thrown two interceptions in the last two games combined. Still, Williams should feel more confident going forward in the game after this touchdown pass, and maybe he will throw many more in the coming months. Williams will be held to high standards as the first overall pick in the draft, but he is only able to manage the things within his control.

Caleb Williams receives advice early in Bears’ rookie season

Even though Caleb Williams’ NFL career is getting off to a rough start, Josh Allen and other league players still have a lot of faith in the rookie quarterback. Earlier in the week, the quarterback for the Buffalo Bills discussed Williams and offered some guidance.

He has, after all, participated in numerous important games, whether at Oklahoma or USC. “I believe he comprehends the game,” Allen remarked. “Obviously, if your first few NFL games don’t go your way, it doesn’t imply that your career will be defined by them.

“I believe he will continue to put in a lot of effort and play football the way he knows how to.” He has progressed this far…Once more, I believe he is a really gifted player. I believe he will be a really talented player, and based only on the video, they are currently at a 1-1 draw.

Williams will undoubtedly keep demonstrating to everyone why he was selected first overall in the draft.
