Cincinnati Bengals tight end Mike Gesicki (calf) was limited in Friday’s practice and is questionable for Monday’s game against Washington. The 28-year-old had a touchdown overturned in the Week 1 loss to the New England Patriots but bounced back with seven catches for 91 yards on nine targets in a close defeat to the Kansas City Chiefs. With many tight ends underperforming in the NFL, Gesicki has become a viable streaming option in 12-team leagues.
However, his availability for Week 3 might not be confirmed until Monday night, after most other games have concluded. Therefore, fantasy managers should consider alternative options for this week. Drew Sample and Erick All Jr. could be available on the waiver wire, but neither is expected to make a significant impact against the Washington Commanders, particularly if Tee Higgins (hamstring) returns after missing the last two games.
