Ole Miss is well-known for their fast-paced offense, particularly when they can establish a rhythm. Despite ranking as the SEC’s second-highest scoring offense, the Rebels have a notably short time of possession to match.

Arkansas head coach Sam Pittman, now in his fifth season, is familiar with Lane Kiffin’s offense, having faced Ole Miss each of the last four years. The Razorbacks have also encountered another fast-paced team this season in Tennessee, whom they upset 19-14 in Fayetteville nearly a month ago. Arkansas will be aiming for a similar outcome when the Rebels come to town on Saturday.

“They run (tempo) as well as anyone in the country, so we’ve definitely focused on it this week,” Pittman said in his weekly SEC teleconference. “We got a taste of it against Tennessee, which helped us prepare for this week in terms of tempo. We’re well aware of how good they are at it and are working hard to be ready for it.”
