Alabama football’s initial availability report for the Tennessee matchup is the most extensive of the season. However, it appears some key players may return for the game in Knoxville.
At wide receiver, both Kobe Prentice and Kendrick Law are listed as probable. Prentice is recovering from a head injury sustained against Vanderbilt, while Law is dealing with a “lower-leg injury” from the Georgia game, according to head coach Kalen DeBoer. “Right now, I would say they are probable,” DeBoer said during the SEC coaches teleconference on Wednesday. “They’re feeling better every day as we continue through practices.”
Alabama cornerback Domani Jackson is also listed as probable after leaving the game against South Carolina but returning to make a crucial interception.
Linebacker Yhonzae Pierre is listed as questionable after missing the South Carolina game, while his fellow linebacker Cayden Jones has been ruled out, primarily contributing on special teams during his freshman year.
On Tennessee’s side, three players, including linebackers Edwin Spillman and Keenan Pili, along with defensive back Jourdan Thomas, are out. Running back Cameron Seldon is marked as questionable, while offensive lineman Lance Heard is probable.
Starting this season, the SEC mandates daily availability reports from teams beginning Wednesdays of game weeks, with final updates issued 90 minutes before kickoff.
